I was skeptical, I won’t deny it. My dog gets so warm, he constantly looks for cooler places to lie down. I read reviews and crossed my fingers. The mat came today, and my dog took to it instantly. Yes, it’s thin, not padded as other reviewers noted, but in searching for cool spots my dog usually lies directly on the floor, so that wasn’t an issue. I put it on the floor and he went right to it and lay down, where he miraculously stayed for almost an hour. He is a lap dog, but after a few minutes he usually has to leave my lap. The picture shows him as he has been for the last half hour. My legs are warm from his body heat, but he is comfy as can be. This product is worth its weight in gold as far as we are concerned!
I bought this cooling pad for my dog Oliver because he gets hot and is always laying on the tile floors instead of the couch/bed. The material is kinda thin, but it cool to the touch. I compared his cooling pad to my cooling blanket and they both feel cool in the same way. Oliver hasn't gotten off his cooling pad since I showed it to him, so I think this is a win!
It not so cool but he likes it is better than any other pad in this heat season.
It hasn't been that hot in the house because the A/C has been on, but she sometimes chooses to lie on it and she's not a bed-seeker in general. She's a calm dog so it's been staying flat even though it's on the hardwood floor. We haven't had it long enough to see how it does in the wash.
This is an excellent cooling may for my long hair Tabby cat. We live in the Palm Springs area of Southern CA. It has been very hot the other day it was 118 Even with the a/c on it is still uncomfortableWhen you put your hand on the mat you can feel the cooling effect and my cat loves it.
It has held up in the heat. It is cooler to the touch and she likes to lay on it. Comfortable feeling fabric.
These are really nice. Dogs laid on them inside and outside the house. We live in Florida and summer is BRUTAL. These are just a little relief. I am not sure why but they are cool to te touch. They are new and I have not washed them yet but so far a success. Yay.Also they threw in a roll of poop bags with each one. Nice little surprise.
I would have to stay at my cat really likes this product. However, normally it's not laid out flat and she kind of clumps it up into a ball kind of like people fold a fitted sheet and then she lays on it. But I would have to say overall she does use it more than I thought she would.
I will say it took my dog some time to "warm up" to the mat. She wasn't really sure what it was. She doesn't like dog beds because they always get too hot so I think maybe she thought it was another dog bed. Being said after testing the waters slowly she surely figured it out. I will say though I ordered a large and it's a bit small, but then again my dog really likes to sploot out!

It’s a thin pad , much better than a cooling blanket, my old pug loves it!!!
I ordered one of these cooling mats to see if they would work for our dogs. Needless to say, it only took 5min for them to fall in love. We’ve purchased others cooling mats that were 3x as expensive and they never used them. The only thing that isn’t great about this one is that it doesn’t seem to be slip-resistant on hard wood floors, but works on carpeting.I just ordered a second one and would highly recommend!Update: second one came in today.. they’re both very happy :)

My furbaby absolutely loves his new cooling mat! He took right to it! We have had 90 degree days and he hasn't moved. Doesn't scratch easy but is soft.
